Steve joined Royal Mail in 1994, became active in the union, was elected to the National Youth Advisory Committee and then became Vice President of UNIEuropa Youth 2004 to 2008. After completing a six months secondment to the CWU he was appointed as the CWU’s first-ever full-time Youth Project Worker.
