Jim Sweeney

Jim Sweeney began his career as a trainee youth and community worker in 1972 and has worked in almost every type of job within Community Learning and Development since. Jim took up the post of chief executive of Youth Link Scotland, the National Agency for Youth Work, in February 2006. He is keen to engage with members and government to create a fairer society in which young people are treated as contributors and equal citizens, rather than being seen as problematic.
