About the event

50 years after the case of the Pentonville Five, Trade Unionists are once again struggling to maintain their hard won rights at work. With pernicious laws having been introduced over the last 50 years to slowly erode workers rights, and recent Government ‘kite flying’ in the media that they plan to attack workers’ right again to the point of criminalisation, we ask what lessons can be learned from the past when trade unionists were criminalised for enforcing their rights, and how must the Labour and Trade Union movement fight back for its future.

Come and hear from our excellent speakers, as they share their analysis of the situation, and what they think the next steps should be.

***Refreshments provided***
