Michael Doherty is Professor of Law and Head of the Department of Law at Maynooth University, Ireland. He lectures and researches in the areas of employment and labour law, industrial relations law and policy, and EU law. His work has focused, in particular, on collective employment rights, employee representation at work, and the role of trade unions.
