Dr Jack Meakin is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Leeds. His research draws on legal theoretical and socio-legal insights to comprehend the strategic use of law in the context of industrial relations. He is currently the principal investigator of an ESRC New Investigator Grant project, TRACTION: Transnational Labour Constitutionalism, which evaluates the opportunities and limitations of transnational strategic litigation and the role of transnational labour law regimes in the constitutional protection of work.
