Aileen has been Professor of Human Rights Law at King’s College London since 2001, and is the UK National Expert on the European Networks of Legal Experts in the Field of Gender Equality and of Experts in the Non-discrimination Field. She is Vice President of the Institute of Employment Rights; editor of the Education Law Reports, a member of the editorial committees of Public Law, European Human Rights Law Review and the International Journal of Discrimination and the Law; a trustee of the British Institute of Human Rights and a former Executive Committee Member of the Human Rights Lawyers Association and the Industrial Law Society.
