In the run up to the 2017 General Election, the Institute of Employment Rights launched Fact News - a series of articles and videos that explained the labour law content of each Party Manifesto.
Workers’ rights become a major political battleground for the 2017 Snap Election and the IER took a detailed look behind the proposals in each Manifesto to analyse the facts, the history and context of each proposal, as well as make recommendations for the strengthening of workers’ rights.
