Draft for consultation: Charter of Workers’ Rights for Scotland

The Charter for Workers' Rights in Scotland is an ongoing project to improve protections for Scottish workers within the constitutional limits of the devolved nation.

This draft for consultation has been shared with trade unions, who have already identified the need for further development in the areas of equal pay and the impact of constitutional limits on implementation.

The consultation with trade unions will continue until November, and development of the Charter continues.

Both the Scottish Trades Union Congress and Scottish Labour leader, Richard Leonard, have lent their support to this initiative.
