IER Publications
The Institute publishes at least 4 books a year and two copies of the Journal, Federation News. Each publication is automatically circulated to our subscribers. Individuals can also purchase copies of the books.

Project on Labour Migration and Workers' Rights
Project description
This project examined public policy concerning labour migration from an employment rights perspective. the aim was to develop policy recommendations which recognise the legitimacy of labour migration. In addition it developed proposals to secure the effective application of labour rights and standards in a context of labour migration.

In response to the ConDem government commitment to two reviews of regulation, the Institute produced a briefing paper . The briefing was produced by 2 health and safety specialists in regulation, Prof Steve Tombs and Dr David Whyte who author the groundbreaking IER publication Regulatory Surrender: Death, injury and the non-enforcement of the law
